🗑️ WEEE Directive & ElektroG – Disposal of old electrical equipment

According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU and the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), electrical devices may not be disposed of with household waste . All products from Dein-Neonschild.de are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. This symbol means that old electrical devices must be disposed of separately .

👉 How to properly dispose of your old neon LED sign:

• Take your old device to a municipal collection point. These guarantee proper disposal and recycling.
• Use certified collection points. Many electronics stores and online retailers accept old electronics free of charge.
• Remove batteries and rechargeable batteries , if present, and dispose of them separately in accordance with battery law requirements.
• Protect your data: If the device stores personal data, delete it before disposal.

📦 Packaging Act (VerpackG) – Sustainable disposal of packaging

We are registered with the LUCID packaging register and comply with all requirements of the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) . Our packaging is licensed and can be disposed of via standard recycling channels.

How to dispose of packaging material correctly:

• 🟢 Cardboard & Paper: Into the waste paper bin
• 🟡 Plastic packaging: In the yellow bag or recycling bin
• ♻️ Filling material (biodegradable): Dispose of it according to the instructions on the packaging, often possible via the organic waste bin

By correctly separating waste, you help ensure that valuable materials can be recycled.
